Matthew Fredrick Riddle (born January 14, 1986) is an American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist, currently signed to WWE. A professional MMA fighter from 2008 to 2014, Riddle made a name for himself by appearing on SpikeTV's The Ultimate Fighter 7, and went on to go on a four-fight win streak in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) before he was fired after testing positive for marijuana in February 2013. In 2014, Riddle began training for a career in professional wrestling, and made his debut in February 2015. In 2016, readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recognized him as the wrestling Rookie of the Year and the Most Improved wrestler of the year.

On July 31, 2018, it was reported by Uproxx that Riddle had signed a contract with WWE. On August 18, Riddle appeared at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 and was identified by the event's commentators as WWE's newest signing. Riddle's NXT debut was on the October 31 edition when he successfully defeated Luke Menzies. On May 29, 2020, Kurt Angle announced that Riddle would be moving to SmackDown. On June 19 edition, he debuted, crashing AJ Styles's WWE Intercontinental Championship celebration and going on to defeat him in a non-title match.
